Hello! I am Val and welcome to my baby, BQ. I started this site as an avenue for those who are looking to find themselves in this wonky, yet well orchestrated, universe. My journey has proven to  come with the ups and downs, the longitudinal and laterals, but there is one constant that remains, my desire to create, share and seek. I found my passion for in the art of tarot around 3 years ago which has aided me in my journey as a tool for wisdom and guidance. Despite the whimsical connotations associated with the art form, tarot is truly a gift for us ALL.

Beyond Quartz represents the idea of life being more than glitz and glam as well as our divine connection reaching beyond crystals and magic. An understanding that is more than our perception of this experience, greater than good and evil, it is love. I found it through therapy, I found it in dance, I found it in profound human and nature interactions. I found it in music that spoke louder than any recognizable voice, I found it through me.

 

Beyond Quartz is an extension of the love bestowed upon me. Please enjoy a piece of my heart, mind, and soul in every page of this site. It is my goal to inspire the souls who come across this site to live life in their most authentic ways, unapologetically. Understand that no matter where you are or who are, you are worthy of life and connection with the divine spirit within and without.
